Fox Glacier Lodge

Spacious and comfortable room with good lighting. Communal kitchen available with tea and coffee making facilities. Nice deck to enjoy a glass of wine. Excellent location for exploring town. Enjoyed breakfast and chatting with fellow travelers.

Stayed in a cozy lodge, complete with a kitchen and TV area. The room was spotlessly clean and had fresh flowers upon arrival. The owners were friendly and even arranged a special surprise for our anniversary. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby town and various eating places. Walking to the glacier was also convenient, and we got to enjoy stunning views.

The rain in the middle of the night caused our laundry to get soaked. It would have been helpful if there was a covered area for drying clothes.

I had a fantastic stay at a well-maintained lodge in Fox Glacier. Despite the rainy weather, the spacious rooms with pine interiors and tidy linens provided a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The continental breakfast exceeded my expectations, with fresh bread, muffins, yogurt, fruit. The manager's friendliness and helpfulness made our stay even better, and the on-site coin-operated laundry was a convenient amenity. the lodge's location in the small village of Fox Glacier made it easily accessible to explore the area on foot. I highly recommend this lodge for a pleasant and satisfying stay.

Although the lodge provided a great experience overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The steps to the office felt precarious in the rain, and a bit more lighting in the foyer and stairwell would have been beneficial.

Lovely timber cabin with mountain views. Clean, cosy, and comfortable. Breakfast foods provided. Laundry facilities. Easy walk to town. Great for exploring the glaciers.

the lodge exceeded my expectations! after a previous disappointing stay in fox glacier, i was pleasantly surprised by the amazing location, friendly staff, and spacious room with cooking facilities. the bottle of wine and tips for exploring the firefly forest were the icing on the cake. highly recommended!

Communication was lacking. had trouble checking in late at night, as the reception was closed and couldn't reach anyone.

The lodge exceeded our expectations, with a lovely interior and great location. the provided breakfast supplies were a nice touch. the shower and bath were fantastic, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Fox Glacier is a charming town with plenty of places to eat and drink. the helicopter ride to the glacier was absolutely amazing.

We had a fantastic romantic escape at a lodge near the beautiful Fox Glacier. the comfortable and clean King Spa Chalet offered us a cozy atmosphere with a lovely gas fire and a luxurious spa in the bathroom. the owner was very friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome during our stay. the lodge's location was excellent, being close to pubs and other dining options, providing us with convenience and the opportunity to explore the local cuisine. the breakfast included in our package was a delightful bonus, offering a variety of jams, cereals, eggs, muffins.

There were a couple of negative aspects.

Great value for money, with a nice and big room and free parking right in front. The location was excellent, close to town and the glaciers, and the staff were super friendly and even offered free guided walks to see glow-worms.

We had a great time during our New Year's stay. the staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home.
